DROP IN

The ‘Drop In’ is experiencing a slight decline in numbers, we feel this may be due to the Bank Holiday break. If the weather is fair Chantelle, the Youth Leader will bring the Zorb Balls as they are a firm favourite.

ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

I have received a call from a member of the public experiencing anti-social behaviour. He reported to me that a group of youths were cycling into the paths of pedestrians on Bank Holiday Sunday along the prom and also riding at vehicles along Promenade Way. I also have personal experience of this as a group of youth’s rode directly into my path whilst I was driving along Promenade Way. The complainant was upset as it was dangerous for his small children and was seeking clarification that cycling is not permitted along the promenade.

Since this complaint it was reported on Social Media by Essex Police that they had visited a number of youths regarding inappropriate cycling and unacceptable behaviour contracts have been issued, with reported support from family members.
