Objective – To increase investment

Discussions have taken place with Lisa Brown, lease holder of Batemans Café, her architect, and planning officers at TDC concerning redevelopment of the site.

After robust discussions between the town’s three District Councillors and TDC”s Chief Executive, Portfolio Holders and Officers, a three year management plan will be brought forward for discussion.

Revenue stream at TDC has been identified for recreational/open space and a request has been submitted for £29,825 to cover play equipment and boundary posts on the Western Promenade.

Ongoing discussions regarding the swimming pool are taking place. Positive plans are being formulated for next year with a longer term plan to be forthcoming.

 Cllr G. Steady

Chair of Finance and Asset Committee.
