Tendring District Council has purchased an outline figure of a soldier, known as a ‘Tommy’, to support a campaign called ‘There But Not There’ which is the 2018 Armistice project for the charity Remembered.

‘Tommy’ is currently doing a ‘Tour of Tendring’ and is in Brightlingsea until Friday 3rd August 2018.

Please feel free to visit ‘Tommy’ at the Brightlingsea Royal British Legion, Sydney Street, from Wednesday 25th until Tuesday 31st July, and in the Council Offices at the Parish Hall, Victoria Place from Wednesday 1st until Friday 3rd August 2018.
