DATES AND VENUES SET FOR QUESTION TIME SESSIONS
Dates and venues have now been finalised for residents in Tendring to put their burning questions to their politicians.
Tendring District Council’s (TDC) Cabinet is going out on the road to six towns to meet with those communities face to face.
They will be heading for Holland-on-Sea, Harwich, Clacton, Frinton and Walton, Brightlingsea and Lawford and Manningtree starting next month.
The initiaitive is to be trialled and if successful could be expanded to other areas of the District later in the year.
The dates which have been set are as follows:
- FEBRUARY 14 – Holland Public Hall, Holland-on-Sea
- FEBRUARY 19 – Park Pavilion, Harwich
- MARCH 5 – St James Church Hall, Clacton
- MARCH 12 – Homelands Free Church Hall, Walton
- MAY 8 – Colne Community School, Brightlingsea
- MAY 29 – Venture Centre 2000, Lawford
All the sessions will run from 7pm until 9pm.
TDC Leader Peter Halliday said it is all about being open and transparent and giving residents the chance to put their politicians on the spot.
“We have set the dates and locations for the meetings and now all we need is for residents to come along and fire their questions at us,” he said.
“We will make every effort to answer all the questions and signpost residents if their concern is outside the Cabinet’s jurisdiction.”
“It really is a chance to meet us and ask us whatever you want about the District.”
