• BAYARD REC DEVELOPMENT.

Plans for the storage units have had to be revised due to planning regulations but the matter is now being taken forward by the Grounds Manager. The user groups on the rec – cricket and football clubs – have welcomed the development.

  • Update from council solicitor:

“With regard to the Bayard Recreation Ground leases, we are in the process of applying for first registration at the Land Registry which will enable us to produce Land Registry compliant lease plans.  I will let you know when this application is ready to be submitted to the Land Registry.”

I am not sure why it has taken so long for this first step to be taken but I will be monitoring the situation closely.
