Councillor Vivien Chapman

I attended a very interesting Locality Board Meeting at Weeley on Thursday 13th November. An update was given on the work at Holland on Sea with the new fishtail groynes; apparently there is a very interesting visitor centre which has so far attracted a very large number of people; an education update and an update on the congestion on the A12. It is hoped next time there will be a meeting about roads in general, i.e. A12, A120, A133.

At the beginning of the meeting members of the public are asked if they have any questions. If there are any questions you would like to be asked on your behalf please let me know, or do come along yourself as everyone is welcome. The next meetings are due to be held on the 15th January, 5th March, 21st May, 23rd July, 24th September and 12th November 2015.

  • Colne Community College. Joint user group. Last meeting September 29. Graham Steady & I attended. No meeting since.
  • A replacement for Lincoln should be in place in the next few weeks. As soon as Graham or I are aware of the person we will advise and probably arrange a meeting. Could be important to Graham Mann if the person is involved with the pool too.

Aldous Museum Trust.

No official meeting since the last TC,.
