Councillor Alan Goggin

Colne Community College. Joint user (Tendring & Colne) group. Following last report the joint users group met [02/03/15]   Well attended by a variety of “users”.. Myself & Cllr Steady attended at committee members but also Cllr Block was there on behalf of other clubs. School under-represented (I thought) and attendee was a new vice principal and frankly I felt that he had not been properly briefed. Several items discussed but fair to say that the Colne was criticised for an apparent lack of consultation with some of the bigger “users” This was most notably the Football Club, Rugby Club and Cricket club. Each was represented by senior committee members. The school promised some responses to specific questions. There will be more to report.

Councillor Graham Steady

Attended JCC/User group meeting on Monday 2nd March to discuss issues. Disappointed with the input from the school in as much as it would appear their representatives had not been fully briefed.
