The James Aldous Trust
The Charity Commission has given its agreement that the Trustees are allowed to sell the property with the proviso that any proceeds go to the Museum Charity.   It is the expectation of the Aldous Trust that a room be set aside in the Museum’s new premises, dedicated to James Aldous, the original benefactor, to provide a library and state of the art technical equipment to enhance the educational role of the Museum, thus fulfilling the primary object of the Scheme.
