COUNCIL  MEETING – 8TH DECEMBER 2011

Minute 142 – Questions from the Public.

Q1 – Anna Burnett – The ladies of the Cinque Port Liberty have made a new flag, but it is never seen.  Is it possible to show it off at the Council office or at the Library?

A1 – Councillor Goggin stated that this flag is flown on Liberty Day and there is a move to put it in the Museum.  On the bottom it shows the names of the seamstresses, and the person who provided the material.

Councillor Steady said that the Museum is closed until April and wondered if we could ask the Liberty to display it here for a period of time.

The Mayor replied yes, we will contact the Liberty about this.
