Minute Number 186 – Questions from the Public.
Q1 – Mr Price – Attended the Councillor Surgery on Saturday and mentioned the parking up Strangers Corner at weekends. They are parking right up on the bend and it is very dangerous. What can be done about this?
A1) The Mayor mentioned that this was raised at a meting in October, and asked Councillor Aldridge if anything had been done yet. Councillor Aldridge replied that it seems to be the Clubs themselves, and as a Council we should ensure the clubs are responsible and make sure their members park properly.
A discussion then took place and it was agreed the Councillor Aldridge would have a word with Sgt Tattersall, with the view to meeting with the clubs, to get the problem sorted.
