COUNCIL MEETING – 20TH APRIL 2017

Minute Number 215 – Questions from the Public.

Q1) Gary Humm – With the formal hurrah of Governance and all their ups and downs, I would like the Town Council to assure me that you have taken on board the local open accountable local government paperwork which changed in 2014 as it affects your use of Part B for almost everything, unless it is under certain circumstances. To use Part B, I had a meeting with Tendring this week, and when you publish your agenda you have to put certain paragraphs down as to why it is in Part B, if you don’t do that you cannot eject the public under the 1960’s act.

A1) The Mayor replied that she would look into this and get back to Mr Humm.
