Minute Number 164 – Questions from the Public.

The Mayor reiterated that she would take all the questions first, and then all the answers would be given.

Q1) Richard Price – Regarding the issue with the Hard, when are you likely to hear back from the Land Registry?

A1) The Mayor replied that the Council does not know the time frame, and is still waiting to hear back from the Land Registry.

Q2) James Willmet – As a resident on the Brightlingsea Leisure Village, is there any movement on the lease extension?  We have heard that Mr Hammerton is wanting to come out of the lease.

A2) Councillor Steady replied that the Council had had a meeting with Mr Hammerton on Friday 13th January, and members are to be updated in Part B of the meeting.  He mentioned that he would like to meet up with Mr Willmet to go through some of the items and the way forward.
