Minute Number 105 – Questions from the Public.

Q1 – Mr Price –If there are to be 20% cuts in the police, and the ambulance service are making £50m cuts – how does this affect the emergency plan for Brightlingsea?

A1) The Mayor replied that she and Councillor J Chapman are attending an Emergency Plan meeting at Tendring District Council early December, and more information will be given after that meeting.

The Mayor then stated that the Chairman of Essex County Council is coming to visit Brightlingsea in November, and an invitation had also been given to Councillor Derrick Louis.  She then read out an e-mail which she had sent to Councillor Derrick Louis dated 1st October 2012, to which no reply has been received.
