Minute Number 120 – Questions from the Public.

Q1)      Mr Price thanked the Council staff for all their hard work, and sent Seasons Greetings to all. He also thanked the Town Councillors for answering his questions, and asked the Tendring Councillors whether Tendring District Council had signed the petition to Ministers relating to the devolution of powers to local government in Essex.

A1)      The Mayor replied that a letter, rather than a petition had been sent to the Ministers, which Mick Page, Leader of Tendring District Council had also signed.

Q2)      In Mr & Mrs Cook’s absence the Mayor read out their thanks for all the hard work Councillors and Staff had carried out in the past year. They also wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
