Minute Number 209 – Questions from the Public.

Question 1) Thank you to all the retiring Councillors for their work over the years. Would the people putting themselves up for Tendring, if you do get elected, think about a new shelter by the swimming pool, as it is in a bad state of repair.

Answer 1) Councillor Steady replied that TDC are looking to take this one down, and replace with a Perspex one, but are looking at funding at the moment.

The Mayor mentioned a question about ring-fencing money at councils, and passed a document to the resident, which should be of interest.

Question 2) There is a street light outside Ruddocks in the High Street, which has been out for some time. Can it be reported please.
