059. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 5TH DECEMBER 2019:

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 5th December 2019 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

None received.

061. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

Application No: 19/01850/FUL – Change of use from A1 to D1, retention of new shopfront & sign – 49 Victoria Place, Brightlingsea

Councillor Chapman declared a personal interest in the following application:-

Application No: 19/01832/OUT – Proposed erection of two detached bungalows – Land East of Folkards Lane, Brightlingsea

Reason for comment:

Makes observations on the application  – Brightlingsea Town Council are aware of a lot of new development along that lane, several following an appeal.  At the planning meeting Stuart Hancock of Hancock Architecture submitted a report on potential flooding.  The Chair explained that neither himself or the committee were in a position to comment on the technical aspects, however our comments to the Council would include this issue.  Brightlingsea Town Council would support the concept of a noise assessment being carried out with regard to this application.
