The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

Application No: 20/00934/OUT – Proposed demolition of 6 lock up garages and erection of 3 two bed houses – Land off Lime Street, Brightlingsea CO7 0BH

Object   Support   Neutral

Reason for comment:

Makes observations on the application – Brightlingsea Town Council objects to this application on the following reasons: (1) It is outside of the Local Plan Development Framework/Envelope; (2) Opposite a Grade I Listed Building; (3) The road is an un-adopted /un-manned road with bad access at both ends; (4) Lime Street has a covenant for boat storage and limited access – March – October; (5) This development is on a flood plain.

However, if Tendring District Council are minded to approve this application, Brightlingsea Town Council would like to ‘call in’ the application.
