Yachts and Yachting magazine has put Brightlingsea Sailing Club forward as a possible winner of Club of the Year.

The new set of swings have been installed in Pawsons Playground.

It is hoped in the spring the BMX humps will be enhanced and there will be a working party dealing with this.

Tendring District council have advised that the can recycling bank located along Promenade Way is being removed in the near future, and is not being replaced. This is due to the bin being defective and is not cost effective to replace. The other three sites in the town will, for the present, continue to contain their can banks.
