Following the meeting with Tendring District Council some interesting facts and figures:-

The attendance this year was 8,330, which is a slight increase on previous years despite the bad weather this year. The total cost of running the pool this year is £82,900, resulting in a loss before the Brightlingsea Town Council subsidy of £52,900 (£62,900 including the subsidy). This equates to a loss of £6.35 per visit (£7.55 if you include the BTC subsidy).

I have discussed the maintenance arrangements with Tendring District Council and they intend to come up with a plan/agreement before Christmas. Hopefully they will then get on site much quicker than in previous years.
