Family support Brightlingsea celebrated their 25th birthday with a special meal on Friday 16th October, where their patron David Bellamy and his wife Rosemary attended. David Bellamy bought down some of his t-shirt and sweatshirts that had been used when he was filming. These were sold at the lunch and over £100 was raised.

The Town Council has been informed they will no longer be able to supply hearing aid batteries to the public. People will have to go to the hospital or get them by post. We have written to protest at this outcome and are trying to find another supplier.

Wednesday 18th November was the first training session for the Food Bank and the opening of the branch in Brightlingsea will be on 2nd December from 10.30 to 12.30 at the Parish Hall.
