• BAYARD RECREATION GROUND.

Work is due to start on the new storage units before the end of the year with a completion date early in 2016 subject to weather conditions.

  • New CCTV camera systems are in operation and should be more efficient and effective in tracking any anti-social behaviour or vandalism.
  • A site meeting is to be arranged with the council’s solicitors in the next two weeks to discuss the issue of leases in respect of the Rec. This will allow proper leases to be issued to user groups on the rec at long last.
  • The recreation ground surface and playing area has been commended by users.
