The Minutes of the 12th November 2009 be approved as a true record of the meeting.

481. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:

None received

482. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

09/00860/FUL Brightlingsea Leisure Village, Promenade Way, Brightlingsea – Variation of condition 1 of planning permission TEN/93/1208 to allow occupancy at the following times: (a) at any time during the period between 1 March in any one year and 14 January in the subsequent year, (b) at weekends from noon on Friday to noon on Monday.
The Town Council makes no comment as it is on its own land but does draw the District Councils attention that (a) it is a holiday caravan site in an area of flood risk and (b) the risk is no less at the weekend than on any other day of the week (and increases the risk to the emergency services at weekends).  The Town Council would respectfully urge that all these applications on this site are determined as soon as possible.

09/01107/FUL Global Trade Partners UK Limited, 165-167 Tower Street, Brightlingsea – Demolition of existing commercial premises and rebuild to link with existing showroom including change of use from B2 light industrial to A1 retail.
Recommend Approval
