12. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 9TH JUNE 2011:

The Minutes of the 9th June 2011 are approved as a true record of the meeting.

13. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:
 
None were declared.

14. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

11/00568/FUL – 30 Marennes Crescent, Brightlingsea – Erection of side extension and 2.1 metre  high boundary wall
Recommend approval, especially as the wall is replacing a similar wall demolished in a road accident.

11/00585/FUL – Sun Inn, 128 New Street, Brightlingsea – Demolition of extensions and garage.  Construction of new extensions to the Sun Inn, change of use of ground floor, construction of three new houses, demolition of existing garage and replacement of same, changes of parking area and associated landscape works
Brightlingsea Town Council has concerns with the number of dwellings on the New Street/Colne Road corner and the likely increase in traffic.

11/00614/ADV – Petrol Filing Station, Samsons Road, Brightlingsea – Replacement of 3 no. forecourt hanging signage, 4 no. forecourt canopy fascias and 1 no. pole (flat type) sign

11/00640/ADV – 47 Victoria Place, Brightlingsea –  no. internal illuminated window poster. 1 no replacement ATM surround
Recommend approval  

11/00583/FUL – Land adjacent Plough House, Lower Farm Lane, Brightlingsea – Ground mounted solar photo voltaic array
Strongly recommend approval
 
11/00684/FUL – 27 Park Drive, Brightlingsea – Proposed rear conservatory extension
Recommend Approval 

11/00617/FUL – 45 Silcott Street, Brightlingsea – Single storey rear extension
Recommend Approval   

Letter from TDC re: Application No: 10/01297/FUL – Mr & Mrs L Cardy – The Town Council acknowledges receipt of the letter with regard to Appeal APP/P156/A/11/2153145/NWF.
 
15. CLOSE OF MEETING:

It was noted that Councillor Olivier did not attend the meeting, and no apologies had been received.

There being no further business to discuss the Meeting closed at 8.00 p.m.
