68. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 8TH DECEMBER 2011:
The Minutes of the 8th December 2011 are approved as a true record of the meeting.
69. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:
None were declared.
70. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:
11/01444/FUL – Relocate boundary fence to encompass part of side garden. Associated landscaping scheme – 17 Whitegate Road, Brightlingsea
11/01445/FUL – Demolish existing garage and build replacement single garage in new position. Remove existing conifers and unstable brick boundary wall and replace with 1.8m high close boarded panel fencing – 78 Seaview Road, Brightlingsea
Recommend Approval – Great Improvement
11/01452/FUL – Use of land as a builders store – Opposite 75 Tower Street, Lime Street, Brightlingsea
-Unsuitable use of the land
-Out of keeping with the surrounding area
-Lime Street is unsuitable for vehicles other than small cars/vans in summer only
-Applicant has not complied with conditions set in previous approved application
-Planning gain sought is not considered to be sufficiently beneficial
-Lime Street Bye-Laws do not permit this type of use
-A Ward Member to be asked to represent the Town Council at the Planning Meeting.
The Town Clerk was instructed to write a letter re: Wall at the Marina, and Brewers Arms Cellar.
