81.        CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 23RD JANUARY 2014:

 

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 23rd January 2014 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

 

82.        DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS:

None were declared.

 

83.        PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

 

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

 

14/00155/FUL – Proposed replacement garage – variation of design approved under 13/01125/FUL – 52 Colne Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval, an improvement.

 

14/00161/TCA– Reduce a mixed hedge from overhanging Lime Street including young Sycamore, Hawthorn, blackthorn, and Poplar sapling to a height of 2.5 metres rising to 4.5 metres at south end of garden.  3 No. Field maple to be left as stand trees.  1 No. Fig – reduce by 50% – Jacobs Hall, 50-52 High Street, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval, an improvement.

 

14/00180/FUL – Single and two storey rear extension – 45 Dean Street, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

13/01467/FUL – Erection of two wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of up to 126.5 metres, together with associated hardstandings, a substation and control building, a new access junction and connected internal access tracks and other related infrastructure – Park Farm, Clay Lane, St Osyth, Clacton-on-Sea

Brightlingsea Town Council makes no comment on this application.  Committee split.
