047. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 20TH SEPTEMBETR 2012:

 The Minutes of the 20th September 2012 are approved as a true record of the meeting.

048. DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS: 
 
None were declared.

049. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:
 
12/01092/FUL Single garage with basement & cloaks – 20 Mill Street, Brightlingsea
Recommend Approval

12/01139/FUL Erection of a two bedroom bungalow – land rear of 32 Albert Road, Brightlingsea
The Town Council is of the opinion that this is still too big and cramped although in improvement on the previous application.  The pitch is still too high and should be a hip roof, and access and egress is also a problem not withstanding the views of the inspector especially the pea shingle surface of the driveway.  The building is still too close to the boundary of the Albert Road properties.

Members then discussed the letter from Tendring District Council on the Appeal by Mr R McTiernan concerning 19 Fieldgate Dock, Brightlingsea, Application Number 12/00790/FUL.  It was agreed that a letter would be sent to the Planning Inspectorate stating “Brightlingsea Town Council recommends objection, as before.  The Town Council finds the extension rather large in relation to the dwelling and the flat roof is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, we also support the District Councils reasons for refusal”.
