101.      APOLOGIES:  None received.

102.      CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 3RD APRIL 2014:

 

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 3rd April 2014 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

 

14/00071/FUL – Sink a bore hole on the Recreation Ground to supply water to Recreation Ground and Allotments –Brightlingsea  Town Council Allotments, Chapel Road, Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Town council made no comment on this application.

 

14/00312/FUL – Proposed two storey rear extension – 98 Church Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

14/00427/FUL – Proposed new roof – 11 Marennes Crescent, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval – an improvement

 

14/00439/TCA – T1 – Silver Birch – located in rear car park – fell  – Jacobs Court, High Street, Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Town council made no comment on this application.

 

14/00465/FUL – Disabled ramp – 45 Red Barn Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

Cllr Mann declared an interest in the following item and left the room whilst it was being discussed.

 

13/01470/FUL – Erection of 77 no. dwellings together with garages, access roads, parking, fencing, walling, public open space, landscaping, drainage, highways infrastructure and other ancillary works – Land South West of Robinson Road, Brightlingsea

The Town Council is not happy to support this application as it does not seem to address the various objections it had nor those of the District Council.  The Brightlingsea Town council request this application to be determined by the Tendring District Council Planning committee and be represented at that meeting by a District Ward Member.
