  1. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 1ST OCTOBER 2015:

 

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 1st October 2015 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

 

Application No: 15/01406/FUL – Proposed installation of an ATM – 25 Station Road, Brightlingsea

Strongly Recommend Approval

 

Application No: 15/01407/ADV – Proposed 1 no. fascia sign – 25 Station Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

Application No: 15/01477/FUL – Change of use of grassed area to form new parking area – Berriff Place, Brightlingsea

Councillors V Chapman, Dixon and Russell all declared a personal interest in the following item:

 

Application No: 15/01554/TPO – 1 No. Leylandi – Removal. 1 No. Copper Beech – Cut lower branches to approximately 3m clear. 2 No. Hawthorns – Removal. 1 No. Ginko – Removal. 1 No. Euonymus Bush – Removal. 1 No Bay tree – Coppice. 1 No. Elder – Removal. 1 No. Norwegian Spruce – Removal. Generally – Tidy up/remove low level limbs. – The Old Rectory, Richard Avenue, Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Town Council would like to seek the advise of TDC’s Tree Officer, Clive Dawson

 

Councillors V Chapman, Dixon and Russell all declared a personal interest in the following item:

 

Application No: 15/01528/OUT – Proposed detached house – Land adjacent 15 Station Road, Brightlingsea

BTC are concerned with the highway implications but look forward to receiving detailed plans in due course.

 

After some discussion the committee were surprised to receive the following three applications ‘for information only’ regarding garages and access at the marina, as they had not received anything previously. The Clerk is requested to contact Tendring District Council to ask them to furnish the council with more information.

 

Application No: 15/01330/NMA – Non material amendment application in relation to planning permission 01/02099/FUL for the changes that have been made to Building H and to retain this building as constructed -Former James and Stone Shipyard Site, Waterside Marina, Brightlingsea

 

Application No: 15/01331/NMA – Non material amendment application in relation to 04/01621/FUL for the removal of an existing waste compactor – Former James and Stone Shipyard Site, Waterside Marina, Brightlingsea

 

Application No: 15/01332/NMA – Non material amendment application in relation to 04/02023/FUL for the changes that have been made to Building G and to retain this building as constructed – Former James and Stone Shipyard Site, Waterside Marina, Brightlingsea

 

The Town Clerk was instructed to write to Tendring District Council regarding the large, low, for sale board at the NatWest Building.
