Minutes of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Victoria Place, Brightlingsea, Essex on Thursday 14th October 2010 at 7.30 p.m.

586. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 30TH SEPTEMBER 2010:

The Minutes of the 30th September 2010 are approved as a true record of the meeting.

587. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:
 
None were declared.

588. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:
 
Councillors D Dixon and J Russell both declared a prejudicial interest, both made a  statement then left the meeting taking no further part in the debate and voting thereon. 

Councillor Holding chaired the following application.

10/01142/TPO The Vicarage, Richard Avenue, Brightlingsea – 1 No. Weeping Willow – decayed – fell
Recommend Approval of this application with a comment that it will be essential to plant a young willow nearby to take up the excessive amount of water in the soil at this point in the Vicarage Garden.

A discussion took place on a letter from Essex County Council – Minerals and Waste Planning dated 22.9.10.  Members have no comment to make on the Mineral Working and Active Landfill Sites Award Scheme.
