42. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:

None were declared.

43. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

11/00837/FUL –  Retention of stables and continued use of land for the keeping of horses and the siting of a container for storing tack – Land to the South of Lower Farm Lane, Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Town Council are most unhappy with this application, and would ask TDC to look into this retrospective application very carefully.  Also the container is ugly and is ‘out of keeping with the surrounding area’.  It is the understanding of the Town Council that the grazing of horses is not an agricultural function.

11/01109/FUL –  Change of use of a beach to allow for a demountable fish stand to sell fish locally caught by Terry Stimpson for 2 days a week – Waterside Marina, Waterside, Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Town Council is unhappy with this proposal as allowing a stall of this nature would set a precedent which could allow for other stalls in the future to get permission in an area of high cost housing

11/01111/FUL –  Single storey extension – 28 Edward Avenue, Brightlingsea
Recommend Approval

11/01121/FUL –  New main entrance canopy, ramp to rear door, solar panels to the south-west elevation and internal refurbishments – Fire Station, 67 Lower Park Road, Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Town Council have no objection to this application

11/01135/FUL –  Extension to existing conservatory – 105 Chapel Road, Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Town Council have no objection to this application

11/01184/TPO –  T1 – Lime – Pollard, 53 Regent Road, Brightlingsea
Recommend Approval
