006.      APOLOGIES:  None were received.

007.      CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 29TH MAY 2014:

 

The Minutes of the meeting held on the 29th May 2014 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

 

008.     DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS:

 

Councillor Dixon declared a non-pecuniary interest on application number 14/00578/ADV, in accordance with the new (revised) members code of conduct paragraph 10.1.

009.      PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

 

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

 

Councillor Dixon made no statement and left the chamber taking no part in the discussion or voting on the following application.  Councillor V Chapman chaired the meeting for this  application.

 

14/00578/ADV – 2 no. fascia signs, 1 no. projecting signs and 6 no. Other signs – 44 Victoria Place, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

14/00653/FUL – Proposed two storey rear extension – 98 Church Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval

 

14/00679/FUL – Extension to existing roof to form new bedroom – 38 Seaview Road, Brightlingsea

Recommend Approval – Brightlingsea Town Council can find no reason to refuse

 

14/00694/FUL – Demolish existing boundary wall and replace with new brick wall as per attached drawing Ref: RD001 – 40 Eastern Road, Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Town Council have no objection to the brickwork but the fencing is detrimental to the street scene
