- CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 28TH APRIL 2016:
The Minutes of the meeting held on the 28th April 2016 were approved as a true record of the meeting.

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:
Application No: 16/00581/FUL – Single storey tiled entrance porch to front (over front door) -10 North Road, Brightlingsea
Application No: 16/00602/FUL – Minor amendments to internal layout and window/door positions approved under ref: 15/01133/FUL – 18 Ladysmith Avenue, Brightlingsea
Application No: 16/00614/FUL – Ramped access – 55 North Road, Brightlingsea
Councillor Dixon declared a pecuniary interest in the following application, and left the meeting whilst discussion took place.
Application No: 16/00628/FUL – Single storey side and rear extensions. Conversion of garage to form granny annexe – 11 Hall Cut, Brightlingsea
Recommend Refusal – Brightlingsea Town Council notes the application and comment that whilst the rear extension is all right, the front appears to be over development
Application No: 16/00629/FUL – Rear single storey and first floor extension – 55 Tower Street, Brightlingsea
Councillor Dixon declared an interest under Clause 10.1 of the Local Code adopted by the Town Council in April 2014 as a Trustee of the Museum’s landlord. He made representation on the application and then left the meeting and took no part in any discussions.
Councillor V Chapman declared an interest in the following application, made representation on the application and then left the meeting and took no part in any discussions.

Recommend Approval providing Clive Dawson, Tendring District Council’s Tree Officer has given his opinion on the Horse Chestnut Tree
