457. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

09/00798/OUT Site rear of 6, 8 and 10 Maltings Road, Brightlingsea – Erection of 3 detached bungalows
Brightlingsea Town Council does not like backland development and would, therefore, recommend refusal as the access is inadequate and in an area with several roads in the vicinity.

09/00826/FUL 7 Mill Street, Brightlingsea – Paved drive and turning area and erection of 1800mm high boundary fence to side boundary
Recommend Approval on condition that Highways Department agrees to and installs a dropped kerb – the plan is incorrect in that there is no existing dropped kerb.

09/00860/FUL Brightlingsea Leisure Village, Promenade Way, Brightlingsea – Application to vary condition of occupancy for caravans to be occupied from 1st March to 14th January in any one year
As ground landlord, Brightlingsea Town Council makes no recommendation but is mindful of the regulations existing in relation to caravan sites.
