Michael Judson has been elected to serve as a Councillor on Brightlingsea Town Council.

He was elected after polling 405 votes at the by-election held on Thursday 10 December.

The seat became vacant following the resignation of Andy Blanche in October. The turnout for the by-election was 11.3 percent.
