Saturday 19th March Held a coffee morning in the Parish Hall Thank you to everyone who helped, made cakes, had stalls and attended. We raised over £550 for the Mayors charities.
Friday 24th March Attended the open day at the fire station  
Wednesday 13th April Attended the open afternoon of OWLs (older wiser links) where the quest speakers were Sir Bob Russell and Andrew Gardener from Age UK. Councillors Russell and Dixon attended also.


Friday 15th April The Chairman of Tendring District Council’s Civic Supper for his charity “Mayflower Trust” Attended with consort.


Saturday 16th April A concert at John King Court called “Oboe in the afternoon” organised by a local girl Mayze Gladying who is studying for a BA degree in classical music.   All money raised went to John King Court.


Sunday 17th April The opening of this years Bowling season at the Bowls Club. Brightlingsea Bowls Club   have been playing for 95 years. Received a cheque for Family Support which has been their charity for the last season.
Tuesday 19th April A meeting with the Refugee Support Group so they could update us on their progress.  
  Presented the winners trophies at the Ladies Darts Final  
Thursday 21st April The Infant School where we gave out the memorial Queen’s Birthday coins to the pupils. With consort.
  Had lunch at the Junior School to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. Also attended their assembly where each pupil was given a memorial coin. With consort.
