COUNCILLORS ROLE THE STORY CONTINUES…………………..
Discussions with Cllrs Carr and Smith regarding planning issues involving the hard and harbour, Cllr Barry involving towns facility in conjunction with TDC budgets, Cllr Chapman regarding town council asset.
Precept
2021/22 Council Tax 3% increase = Band D property £65.15 = £1.25 per week. Year on year increase of £1.87 = 3p per week.
This increase includes:- seed funding for a Neighbourhood Plan; financial support for the YMCA Youth drop in centre; standing annual and discretionary grants to local organisations; 2.5% increase for staff wages.
During 2010/11 to 2013/14 there was no increase in the precept/council tax
During 2015/16 the council tax decreased by 0.2%.
