I attended a meeting with a new care company called Tranquillity Care Solutions UK Ltd, who will specialise in End of Life care and specialist care in your own home.  Their main office is based in Wivenhoe and they will cover all local areas as well as being on call 24/7.

We are hoping to have Age UK come to the council office on Wednesday 29th January with their winter warmth campaign where they will test electric blankets and offer free replacements if they fail.  Also advice on keeping warm and energy advice, they will also have fleece blankets for sale.  OWL’s (older wiser links) organisation will also be in attendance.

I was asked to distribute some donated food to people we felt were needy, I have worked with Sue Myhill from the Salvation Army  and 10 food parcels have been given out.  There is a small amount left if anyone knows of someone who is in need of it.
