The Brightlingsea Nature Network will be planting hedges on Morses Meadow on Saturday, March 7 from 10.30am-12.30pm.

To get there, take the footpath off Red Barn Road and walk down to towards Warrens Pond next to the EWD fence. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, forks, spades or trowels. It’s suggested that volunteers use the footpath off Red Barn Road and not Morses Lane to avoid the large lorries.

The pit planting method of planting trees and hedges will be used and can be seen here – https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/plant-trees/advice/how-to-plant/

Hot drinks will be available.
