Minutes of the Online Extraordinary Council Meeting held on

Tuesday 12th January 2021 at 2.00pm.

106. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE: None received.

107. DECLARATION OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS:

The Mayor reminded Members to declare interests when necessary.

108. 2021/2022 BUDGET AND PRECEPT REQUEST:

The Mayor informed members that at the Finance Meeting held on the 26th November 2020, Councillor Smith proposed that the precept for 2021/2022 should be increased by 3%.  This was seconded at the meeting by Councillor Chapman and agreed by all.

He then stated that the proposed budgets for 2021/2022 were based on a 3% increase, which would give a Precept of £186,806.00, Tax Base of 2,867.5 and a Band D rating of £65.15.

The budgets and precept for 2021/2022 were then proposed by Councillor Carr, seconded by Councillor Smith.  Agreed unanimously.

There being no further business, the meeting closed at 2.06 p.m.
