I have had a meeting with the Lloyds Bank Managers who have confirmed that Brightlingsea Branch will not be closing. A lot of banks and not just Lloyds have reduced their hours with Barclays following at St Johns Colchester and their branch at the University closing altogether. I have asked them to reply to the Council letter to confirm the emails I was shown.

I have had a lot of contact with Adult Social Care over the last few weeks with local residents either needing more equipment or assessment of their needs. We had an emergency with a resident and all credit to the Social Services they acted really quickly and equipment was delivered in 2 days.

We have written and complained about the stopping of hearing aid batteries, I understand there is a private company who fund some batteries and meet at the Library.
