Covid Injections in Brightlingsea

Heard good stories about out of town visits plus news from the local surgery.

Good reports from most.  ECC responsible for excellent track & trace

Cllr Jean Howard.

Very sad to hear of the resignation of Jean

I worked with her on several projects.  I always found her to be open, transparent & honest.  I wish her well.

Her experience & work effort will be sadly missed. A shame for the Town about the circumstances.

Possible AG’s last meeting as ECC representative.

Many thanks for support from Councillors over 6yrs. Thanks to Clerk & staff who works amazingly hard for the Town.

There have been moments of great fun and achievement. I feel much has been achieved by working together

I am slightly uncomfortable with the response from ECC in relation to question 1 which refers to the locality fund. I would have preferred the answer to have been more in depth. As Councillors I hope that you will

remember the discussions about the £10K grant and how each Council discussed and applied.

Above is a full list of the applications – by parish – together with the individual grants and overall costs.  I think that we can all be proud that the £10K grant helped to provide over £16K of benefits for our residents.
