The clean up took place on the 10th March by a group of residents who use the area to exercise their dogs,Cllr Graham Steady, responsible for footpaths, amenity areas and open spaces, expressed his thanks for the groups efforts and added that this type of initiative fits in with the activities of the councils work force and the voluntary work carried out by the towns award winning litter pickers group..The council supplied the necessary equipment.
