A project has been launched to add ornaments made from recycled materials to the Christmas Tree in the town centre.

Organised by Creative Expressions Art Therapy, the idea is to make a decoration from material in your recycling box, then drop it off at either the Primary School and Nursery by noon on December 18, or the Spar in Victoria Place by 10am on December 23. The decorations will be hung on the tree on the afternoon of the 23rd.

Note that items will be photographed and may be shared, so it may be best to avoid photographs. it’s not necessary to put a name on the items, but if you do, it’s advised to make it discrete. When the tree is taken down, the decorations will be recycled and not returned.
