Voters in Brightlingsea will be heading to the polls next week to elect a Town Councillor. The seat became vacant in October following the resignation of Andy Blanche and the two candidates are James Bloyce (Liberal Democrats) and Mick Judson (Brightlingsea First).

All polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday, December 10.

Due to the unavailability of the United Church Hall in Chapel Road, electors living in the Hurst Green polling district will be able to cast their votes at the Brightlingsea Community Centre in Lower Park Road, together with electors in the St James polling district.

This change in polling place applies to this by-election only. Electors living in the All Saints polling district will be able to vote at their usual polling place, the Colne Community School, Church Road.

Polling station voters should refer to their poll card for details of which polling station they are entitled to vote at or contact Electoral Services on 01255 686566.
