- Do you want to help the community where you study, live or work?
- Do you want to make sure you and your neighbours get the advice you need now and in the future?
You might run a small business, be an active member of the community, or someone who is passionate about people having access to their rights.
If so, Tendring CAB wants you to share your skills, knowledge, and passion, and be involved in leading a local, high profile charity.
Trustees will help set the strategic direction of the organisation, ensure that it has the resources, and the right staff with the right skills, to deliver and develop future services.
People from all backgrounds are welcomed as the charity aspires to have a diverse trustee board that reflects its clients and communities and brings a wide range of skills and diversity of experiences to its trustee board.
Contact isobel.abbott@cabtendring.org.uk for an application pack, and an informal chat about the role. Trustees will have to be available for monthly board meetings, for which reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
The charity’s annual review can be seen on its website at www.citizensadvice.org.uk/local/tendring.
