Tendring District Council has passed plans that will see Bateman’s Tower Café in Brightlingsea redeveloped. Congratulations to Lisa, Stuart and all involved.

As mentioned in previous statements, this personal investment by Lisa fits in with the Council’s policy of redeveloping and improving the whole of the Town’s waterfront.

Meetings have been held with Tendring District Council regarding the upgrade of the toilets on the Western Promenade and the formation of a management trust to take over the running of the Swimming Pool.  The completion of the Marina development is gaining pace and the proposed development of the Morgan Marine Facility is looking positive.

So the message is “Brightlingsea means business”.
