On 13th June met with the British Legion Committee to discuss 100 years since the ending of WW1 commemoration. 107 town’s folk who made the ultimate sacrifice to be remembered by having individual crosses with their names and the towns crest on planted in the war memorial gardens. The 107 names will be read out and members of the town’s youth organisations will plant 20 randomly selected crosses.
