26. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 21ST JULY 2011:

The Minutes of the 21st July 2011 are approved as a true record of the meeting.

27. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS: 
 
None were declared.

28. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

Councillor Dixon declared a personal interest in the following application

11/00818/FUL -  Proposed two storey extension to form garage, playroom, study, 2 bedrooms and en-suites – 14 Seaview Road, Brightlingsea
The Town Council thinks this is an improvement but would make a request that the Stucco be painted/finished in a less obtrusive colour.

11/00837/FUL -  Retention of stables and continued use of land for the keeping of horses – Land to the South of Lower Farm Lane, Brightlingsea 
Brightlingsea Town Council are most unhappy with this application, and would ask TDC to look into this retrospective application very carefully.

11/00877/OUT – Variation of Condition 5 of Planning Permission 11/00196/OUT to permit alternative parking arrangements – Springmead, Ladysmith Avenue, Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Town Council does not like this application but unfortunately are unable to find any planning reason to object.  Some way of hiding dustbins would be appreciated, as frontage is rather ugly.
