BRIGHTLINGSEA TOWN COUNCIL Minutes of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Victoria Place,Brightlingsea, Essex on Thursday 27th May 2010 at 7.30 p.m. Present: Substitute Members: 540. APOLOGIES: Cllr Holding. The Minutes of the 13th May 2010 are approved as a true record of the meeting. 542. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS: The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council: 10/00439/FUL Mr Bernard Revill, 3 Manor House Way, Brightlingsea - Extend boundary fence by 3m into existing front garden 10/00502/FUL Brightlingsea Harbour Commissioners, The Wreck House, Waterside, Brightlingsea -Alternation to large double doors to increase the height to make the building accessible for the Brightlingsea Ferry, other vessels and a vehicle. The purpose is to make the building more functional both now and in the future. 10/00511/FUL Mr & Mrs James, 16 Park Drive, Brightlingsea - Single storey rear extension plus other alterations Cllr Beckwith declared a personal interest in the following application 10/00530/FUL Mr & Mrs Carter, 9 Spring Chase, Brightlingsea - Proposed rear extension to form kitchen and living room Cllrs J Chapman and G Steady both declared a personal interest in the following application 10/00531/FUL Governors of Colne Community School, Playing Field, Church Road, Brightlingsea -Proposed changing pavilion to replace existing and conversion of existing changing rooms to store 10/00548/FUL Mrs Anne Stonebridge, 33 Regent Road, Brightlingsea -Single storey pitch roof extension to side of dwelling to form annexe. (Annexe for the use of registered disabled person) 10/00556/FUL Brightlingsea Town Council, Bayard Recreation Ground, Regent Road, Brightlingsea - Formation of new cricket practice facility on existing Council owned recreation ground Cllr Beckwith declared a prejudicial interest in the following application 10/00476/FUL Mr Durmus Aslan, 22 Victoria Place, Brightlingsea – Provision of flue, provision of 2 extractor units 10/00521/FUL Mr Nixon, 19 York Road, Brightlingsea – Front porch which in the main is covered by permitted development rights with the exception of the height to 3.6m.
