Minutes of the Planning Committee held at the Parish Hall, Victoria Place, Brightlingsea, Essex on Thursday 29th April 2010 at 7.30 p.m.

530. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 15TH APRIL 2010:

The Minutes of the 15th April 2010 be approved as a true record of the meeting.

531. DECLARATION OF PERSONAL & PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS:
 
Cllr Dixon declared a Prejudicial Interest in application 10/00350/FUL.
Cllr Yallop declared a Personal Interest in application 10/00350/FUL.
  
532. PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

The following applications had been received by Tendring District Council:

Cllr Aldridge declared a Personal Interest in the following item.
Cllr Dixon left the meeting whilst the following application was being discussed and Cllr  Holding chaired this application.

10/00350/FUL Land off Eastern Road, Brightlingsea – Erection of three houses (one pair of three bed semi detached and one four bed detached) with associated garages and parking
Recommend Refusal – Back land development, bad access (dangerous access), endangering life of children and overdevelopment.

10/00294/FUL Four Winds, 32A Church Road, Brightlingsea – Single storey unit to provide laundry, staff changing accommodation and office in connection with the main use of the site as a Care Home.  Bin store to side of home
Recommend Approval

10/00360/FUL 34 Seaview Road, Brightlingsea – Extension and alterations
Brightlingsea Town Council has no objection to this application

Cllr Russell declared a Personal Interest in the following item.

10/00411/OUT Land at George Avenue, Brightlingsea – Outline application for 7 no. dwellings
Recommend Refusal – This area is designated as open allotments as stated in the Local Plan.  Also we believe there is a covenant on the land.

10/00420/FUL 6 High Street, Brightlingsea – Remove existing metal roller shutter and infill opening with new glazed timber shop front and entrance door
Recommend Approval

10/00435/FUL 53 Ladysmith Avenue, Brightlingsea – Single storey rear extension
Recommend Approval

Cllrs Dixon and Holding declared a Personal Interest and Cllr Steady declared both a Personal and Prejudicial Interest in the following item.

10/00438/LBC The Wreck House, Waterside, Brightlingsea – Installation of a plaque explaining the purpose and history relating to the Wreck House
Recommend Approval
